1000 words in

Yep, it finally started. I got down to work on my new WIP.

I came up with a great opening line, and it kind of went from there. 1000 words may not seem like much, especially for the beginning, but give me two months of that, and I'll have a novel (or at least a first draft).

Yay you! That's a great start - especially at the beginning!

Okay, that sounds silly - a great start at the beginning. But, I think you know what I mean.

Totally know what you mean. The first two lines came out OK, and then I'm, like, uh, what next?

I know how you feel. I got 1000 words today, but it wasn't the easiest words I've ever written. I was looking at wrote a couple days ago and thinking "Uh oh, what now?"

And that's when it's good to take a break. Because already I'm looking forward to writing more tonight!
