Misplaced Bugs

I had two blue scarab beetles on my desk when I left for the weekend. Now they are gone.
I asked my son if he took them.
"No."
"Are you sure?"
"Well, yeah, I did, but I don't remember where I put them."

At some point while decluttering the house, I hope to stumble on my missing bugs. At least my mummy Smurf is still around.

I hope you find your scarab bugs. You need Tut around - aren't they attracted to him?

Hmmm. Good idea. I'm thinking maybe they went on their way with a piece of dung.

My kids seem to "hide" my things when they are playing. It takes weeks for me to find things. I've found important things in their play kitchen set, under their pillows, in corners of their closet, behind books on the bookshelf. I once found my eyeglasses tucked in with all my baking pans. Don't ask. I'm still trying to figure that one out.

My kids say they like playing with my things because it reminds them of me, so think how much your son missed you, and start searching in strange places.

That's a sweet thought, Vivian! That they missed me and that's why they took my stuff. I'm going to hold onto that!
