2) How are you going to kick off the New Year?
Me...I'm jumping in the neighbor's pool bright and early New Year's Morning. The Polar Bear Club, right?

I'm hoping at some point to brave the snow-covered roads and get to the grocery store. Yes. I have high hopes.
And I don't think I'll be jumping in any pools at midnight!

I'm thinking a glass of wine - or maybe some more of that brandy I had the other day.
I'm going to buy mini blinds, get a new couch we desperately need, and get an estimate for a sun room. Hm, think I'll be spending lots of money. I might prefer that to your pool. And of course I'm going to read, maybe write and be lazy.
I am getting the next chapter in my WIP done, and kicking off the new year with a pajama party :)
I wouldn't jump into a pool, but definitely a hot tub!

I will not be jumping in the pool, not even in Austin. :)
I must get the house back in shape before we leave for a few days (in case a potential buyer looks at it). Plus make two batches of cookies. That's plenty. :)
Right now I'm at Myrtle Beach with the kids. I just finished one book and I'm working on a second one that I hope to finish by the new year. I've been able to get some reading and even ms planning by the poolside as the kiddo's swim. It's the nice way to end a year and bring in a new one. :0)

My New Years plans are equally low-key. Soup, ice cream and sleep. Also I plan to NOT jump into a freezing pool. *snicker*
