...remodeling the kitchen.
I am impatient by nature, but I have to teach myself to take my time.
I'm not afraid to jump right in and start striping old stain off.
I know anything I mess up can always be fixed.
There is so much to do, but, by taking it one step at a time, it will come out beautifully!
Day 3. No doors. No stuff. Black paint.I couldn't help but sing The Rolling Stones "Paint it, Black" when I started.
What are revisions like for you?
Hope you all have a great weekend! I'll be busy working on the kitchen :)

Revisions are a lot like weeding a garden. You think you've pulled all the weeds and left nothing but the roses. The next day though, there are more weeds to pull!
Good luck with your kitchen remodel. I'm working on the same project in my home.
LOL, Susan! You remind me I have lots of yard work to do, too! Good luck with your remodel, too!
Now I want to remodel my kitchen. Great pics, Tricia. Can't wait to see it when the remodel is complete
Thanks, Jessica! Me, too!
Polishing a stone or pruning a rosebush.
Oh, polishing a stone. Nice one, Caroline.
I like Susan's analogy. Sounds like you and I are on the remodeling wave length. I'm having my crumbling screened in porch torn down and a sunroom installed right now.
If you can find it anywhere online, you have to watch the Tracy Ullman skit where she's waiting for the washer-repair guy (or someone like that) to come & they keep missing each other & he keeps leaving notes & she goes stir crazy and, yes...paints it ALL black, with music.
Yours looks gorgeous! :)
Nice comparison! And good visuals to help prove it. Good job, and good luck on your kitchen!
Oh, Natalie, I bet your sun room will be amazing! just the term sun room is cool!
Thanks, Becky! I do think I saw that a long time ago, but it definitely sounds like it is time for a rewatch!
Thanks and thanks, Heather! How is everything? I hope you're doing great these days!
Revisions are a lot like moving. They take a while, cause a huge mess and can feel endless when you're in the middle of them.
They also feel awesome when they're done. (unpacked)
Yay for you moving and unpacking, Miriam! It was a while back, but I bet it still feels great!
Your kitchen is shaping up great! That IS a lot like revisions. The basic frame is there, everything else changes.
Having that frame there helps so much, Marcia, doesn't it? In everything!
