Happy Weekend!

Hope you crack lots of cascarones! We have a gross sitting on the dining room table just waiting to be cracked.

And in case that isn't enough, you should totally check out the Polish tradition of Dyngus Day. In short you dump water on those in the house still asleep (or at least that's how we interpret it around here).

Easter Monday is a good day to be the first one awake.

Happy Easter to one and all. I don't know much about formal religious practices, but I believe in things of the spirit and heart. To me, Easter is a time of rebirth and new greenery and second chances.
The picture of the cascarones is lovely. So bright and fanciful.

Thank you! I love the feeling of new spring, too. Almost as much as I love fall :)
